Amy Smart, an American model and actress from the United States. Amy Smart was born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film, was her first part. After a difficult fight her way to a role, she got a chance in the 'Starship Troopers' series starring in Starship Troopers. In the beginning, it was difficult for Amy to transition from modeling to acting. This is because most models don't have the ability to act. And they are usually only given small, insignificant parts. Amy did not give up and ultimately she was offered bigger parts in the movies Varsity Blues and The 70s. Amy then stepped into main roles for the 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy gained recognition after more than ten years of struggling.
