Amy Smart has been a model, actress as well as a former American. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her first role as an actor was in the 1996 TV movie Her Costly Affair. She struggled to get a small role for her in Starship Troopers. Amy struggled to make the transition from modeling to acting since models aren't usually thought of as good actors. They are usually given smaller or unimportant roles. Amy did not give up and eventually she landed bigger roles in films Varsity Blues and The 70s. Amy later stepped into lead parts in 2005's romantic comedy Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy attained the fame she'd been seeking for nearly 10 years, when her movie, Just Friends was released. Amy continued to appear in some of the biggest movies, including the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless with Jason Statham, in which she portrayed a character who remained in the spotlight for a long time.
