Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is an Canadian actor from Canada. Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand-born actress. She was born in Winnipeg but raised in Wellington, she was the first actress to appear on screen in The Piano. In this romance film, at the age of the age of 11, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th July 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. When she responded to a request to auditions open at the age of nine and having no previous experience in acting, she won Flora McGrath's part. Paquin started her acting career in the midst of her childhood with a part as the Jane Eyre main character in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre as well as a major part in Fly Away Home. Paquin had a small role in the TV film of 1997 adaptation of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. The actress also played the Princess of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She portrayed teens on the screen in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) as well as Almost Famous (2000).
